Be part of discussing our union’s future. The ILA is facing bankruptcy and isn’t mobilizing members for a strong master contract. The LWC will fight for our union, so join us!

• Building the LWC 10th Anniversary Convention (scheduled for March 2010 in Savannah, Georgia)
• Building the LWC in Florida
• 2010 deep-sea master contract campaign planning: end the wage, benefit and royalty tiers!
• LWC recruitment and health and safety campaigns
• LWC Women’s Vision Group campaigns

MEETING DETAILS:

Schedule: The meeting starts at 10am on Friday September 25 and ends at 5pm on Saturday September 26. An agenda will be available soon here.

Socials/meals:
* Thursday September 24 at 7pm: Dinner (not included in the registration rate), location to be announced.

* Friday September 25 at 6pm: Dinner (not included in the registration rate), location to be announced.

* Saturday September 26 at 7:30pm: There will be a dinner at the main hotel. This banquet dinner is included in the registration fee.

* Breakfast and lunch at your cost. There is a restaurant on-site at the meeting location.

Meeting Location: The meeting will take place at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, 1633 North Bayshore Drive, Miami, Florida 33132, tel. 305-374-3900.
