It's common sense and it's in the ILA constitution. Then why do Virgil and the members of the Exec keep doing it? We pay dues for our officers to be there to defend us...from the company. When union members are foremen they become proxies for the company, they become management. Although, for the most part this dual identity works to our advantage in some cases it does not. I understand our foremen are caught between a rock and a hard place: company hammer or Union Brother.
